The Plot:
Follow the Manhattan-based Beavan family as they abandon their high consumption 5th Avenue lifestyle and try to live a year while making no net environmental impact. Colin Beavan decides to completely eliminate his personal impact on the environment for the next year. It means eating vegetarian, buying only local food, and turning off the refrigerator. It also means no elevators, no television, no cars, busses, or airplanes, no toxic cleaning products, no electricity, no material consumption, and no garbage.

Conditions
Seat reservation will start outside the venue 15 minutes before the screening. Seats will be available on a first-come-first-served basis (for PolyU students and staff). There will be a post-screening session (in English) where light refreshments will be served.
